Weight Loss Is a Pain In The Ass!

From what I’ve learned there is a lot to “lose weight”. First it’s 80% diet and 20% exercise, which I thought was full of crap from the start because I guess if you get your body moving consistently you won’t have to worry about what food you’re eating. MISTAKEN! I’m a foodie, so I figured with my workout plan I could get away with it. NOT!

Nutrition consists of three main things: proteins, carbohydrates and fats help build muscles, slim the body and give energy. If you’re eating fried and sugary foods (which mostly contain fat and who cares what kind of fat). For your diet, or er, your “lifestyle change” you need around 60% carbs, 20% protein, and 20% — which may or may not be accurate but close. So eating junk and working out won’t help you lose weight. So what I did was towards clean healthy eating AND I stopped drinking soda. That was the hardest of all. Check the previous article written by moi 🙂

Oh and it gets better guys!!! I figured now I should melt the pounds off, and not exactly… you see, I changed my eating, stopped drinking and was still working out… now, before I stopped drinking and changed my eating habits, I haven’t lost anything yet, but when I did, I lost weight because I stopped drinking soda. But not from training.

Here is the deal! You have to PUSH HARD when you train! My problem is that I take breaks as soon as I get tired. Oh no, no. You need to, in addition to everything mentioned above, you need to make sure your heart rate is elevated to a certain range and only take 30 seconds to possibly a minute break so your heart rate stays high and you burn off the pounds . So I recommend investing in a heart rate monitor if you’re serious about losing weight. You can also figure out what your heart rate should be like while exercising. Just Google “target heart rate for training”.

I have lost about 5 lbs but still have some left. Have I considered the trendy weight loss products out there? Heck yes, mostly because I was having no luck doing what I thought I was doing correctly. But I decided against it because I want to do it right.

By changing my diet and working out, I’ve learned to love many new things like eating clean, running (I’m not a runner, and now I LOVE to go running), and drinking all kinds of healthy drinks. I try to stay away from sugary drinks, but I love Propel and some juices and am always looking for a new healthy drink to try. I also love the workout equipment and different workouts. Right now I’m currently doing Turbo Fire, Pilates, I have a Yoga mat (and I do Yoga too). I also have toning shoes and running shoes so I can steadily lose weight and build muscle.

So my people, this is how you lose weight and is he still a pain in the ass? A little.
