Fiber-rich whole foods are still better than supplements because of the nutrients they contain. The effects of these nutrients in whole grains are synergistic, especially when starting your day. Along with fiber’s role as a highly beneficial nutrient for blood pressure, this positive effect is further enhanced by the whole grain’s vitamins, minerals, especially potassium, and antioxidants.
In conclusion, I recommend starting your day with whole grains. With consistency, you will also lose weight.
