Eating these artificial sweeteners can increase your cravings for junk food and other carbohydrates, causing you to eat more anyway. So you’re probably not saving any calories by eating foods with artificial sweeteners instead of sugar.
So what do you do about it?
Realistically you should avoid eating a ton of sugary things. If you also want to eat yogurt or a snack, opt for a finer style of sugar. Try your best to stay away from high fructose corn syrup when you can because it’s no better than chemical sweeteners.
