What is the Nutrisystem Flex Plan? Details About the Diet’s Part Time Program

I get a lot of questions asking about NutriSystem’s new flex or part-time plan. People want to know how cheap it is, is it as good as the regular programs, and does it include vegetarian, silver, men’s and diabetes programs. I will go over some of the details and details about the project and also address the concerns I have just raised.

Nutrisystem’s Flex Plan: It’s cheaper because you get 20 days of food instead of 28 days: Perhaps there are two main aspects to this project that make it so attractive. The first is cost. At around $220 for the complete package (which allows for three main meals per day plus snacks and desserts) it is the cheapest package offered by the company. If you’re in a situation where you can’t take your own, it’s very appealing psychologically. Food, it doesn’t have to be a big deal or a deal breaker.

You can choose the Flex option for any of the Nutrisystem programs (Women’s, Men’s, Vegetarian, Silver and Diabetic): Some people have the perception that to go with a flex plan, you have to settle for the foods they choose to include. This is not so. You can choose your own food from any of the programs they offer. Nothing is blocked. So that means you can have a cinnamon bun or cereal for breakfast, tortellini or chicken salad for lunch, ravioli or pizza for dinner, and pretzels and chocolate cake for your snack and dessert. There are around 150 meals, snacks and desserts to choose from.

What can you eat on the two days you are off?: The company offers a detailed guide that gives you tips. They also offer options if you are going to eat at restaurants during your vacation. And, it’s not like you’re completely inexperienced. Because you are asked to add fresh and healthy sides to your main meal. By doing this, you will learn how to choose foods that are low glycemic and high in volume.

This is somewhat important because the Nutrisystem works in part by the mechanism of ketosis, which prompts your body to burn fat rather than carbohydrates. For this to happen, you cannot consume calories and carbohydrates for long periods of time. You’ll want to keep this in mind on your days off. Now granted, taking in just 1200 -1500 calories on your “on” days gives you some room to maneuver on your off days. Overall, you’re likely to consume even fewer calories and carbs, which translates into results.

As for whether a flex plan works as well as regular programs, in my opinion, it depends on the individual and their ability to learn to make decent choices while adding in sides. If you can learn to do this (and I believe most people do), then you should be able to apply it to your days off. As long as you can, you should be able to stay in ketosis and continue to lose weight.
