It seems like a small thing.. the position of the ball. This can be an easy thing to do. But I have to tell you that almost everyone and I mean weekend players don’t care about the position of the ball.

If you could increase your distance from the tee box, say, 20,30 or more yards and hit it straighter, would you consider it?

Now let’s look at this topic and make it a short discussion. We’ll just put it down to the tee shot.

I see someone chasing it with their hands moving towards the goal and their body bent in an interesting way. Often the ball is returned to its place, causing a troublesome problem.

First, it is almost impossible to get a good fit on the target. Then it’s almost impossible to get into a set position where the parts and pieces of your golf swing can move in the right order. And then there’s the annoying weight shift that no one seems to know how to do.

And last but not least, the cussed chicken wings. You know how it is.. right?

These and many other problems with your golf swing are caused by the ball being out of alignment.

Now, it’s just a little off the beaten track. I recently wrote an article about eye dominance and the importance of getting it right.

Although my understanding of this issue is still incomplete, I have found that most people are right eye dominant. Although those with left eyes have slightly different challenges in developing ball position, the concept of both is exactly the same.

And here’s the director…. you always have to rely on your domineering eye for accurate information. This is in terms of body alignment, finding the line on the putting green, getting your body to move the ball through the full golf swing, and more.

You should try not to confuse your mind with too much conflicting information. If you allow the two eyes to meet while processing visual information, you will make physiological adjustments that may not be appropriate.

One of these adjustments is the position of the ball.

Here’s a great tip. Always make sure the ball is placed right in front of your eyes on every golf swing you take. always. This includes when setting up.

And always let your eyes dominate to get the information and not the other eyes. If you have to close one eye to get the line on the green or align the target with a longer shot… do it.

Return to the position of the ball on the tee.

I want everyone to try this……..not just once, but until you feel good about it.

The next time you’re on the field or just coming out of the field for a nice spin, kick the ball forward, towards the goal, with your left foot……. … for right-handed players. .

Not from the left heel but before your left foot. You will feel that you will never be able to hit the ball. As for you, trust me on this.

Most of you suffer from negative weight changes, this will solve it.

Most of you have bad ball position, this will solve that too.

Most of you have chicken wings, this will fix that too.

Most of you have trouble staying behind that ball, this will solve it.

Chances are, you’ll think you can’t do it and you won’t. It doesn’t matter. But some of you will try it and work on it. And when you do, you will find magic.

1. You will get a good stretch through the swing

2. You will experience weight changes

3. the swing speed at impact will be at a maximum.

4. You will be behind the ball with little effort

5. You’ll hit the ball higher and get more time (a good thing)

6. You will hit the tee shot farther than before

7. and finally, you will be better than before even if you beat him like a piece of trash

The idea here is to force yourself to let the dominant eye stay behind the ball and allow the information processing to benefit your golf swing. When confusion sets in, there is no correction.

Give this little fix some serious effort. Not everyone will do it and go back to their old ways, that’s fine with me. It’s just a game and if you’re happy, so am I

In closing, let me tell you about my personal experience with this forward ball position concept. I am left eye dominant. I tended to play ball more than forward. I can’t say why I do it. I’m a good hitter, shooting in the low 70s most of the time with the occasional sub par round.

However, I needed a checkup and went to the pro club to check. We only talked about what I write here and now. I advanced the ball as the pro suggested based on my eye dominance.

I’ve played twice since this golf guide…I hit the tee ball on the button every time. It was 14 times, hitting all but one of the fairways, and it was in the trap zone, which I don’t mind.

And, get this, I hit the ball off the tee more than I could on a regular basis. How much you might ask?

I’m about 265 off the tee. I’m not much of a hitter. But I hit the ball at least 10 yards, and several over 25 yards. One is more than 300 meters (with the help of wind)

I thought the small change was a very dramatic change. I usually do the ball position, because on several shots, I put the object in front of my left foot. It didn’t seem to matter, except that my last balance wasn’t very good. Because it seemed like I had to follow him more to get to where I put the ball.

I shot 72 and 73 over those two days. In windy conditions and using a putter that didn’t suit me.

I believe that hitting the driver on the fairway is one of the single most important shots in golf, I don’t buy into the “drive for show putt for dough” thing. If you’re not on the highway, it doesn’t matter if you’re good or poor, you can be worse or worse.
