Increasing your metabolic rate is more important than focusing on how many calories you burn in a specific exercise. That’s because you burn calories every day, no matter how active you are. People with a fast metabolic rate are naturally thin because a fast metabolism helps them burn a lot of calories and prevents fat gain.
So this is the key to losing fat = increasing your metabolic rate. So you don’t have to go to the gym and run on the treadmill for an hour a day, and you don’t have to carry heavy loads for hours a week. All you need to do is engage in vigorous exercise that gets your heart rate up, raising your metabolism to lose a lot of fat.
