The ‘Postman’ Weight Loss Plan!

This article is aimed at those of you who have a weight problem and want to lose weight. I know what it feels like to struggle with a weight problem after trying countless diets and weight loss plans. Like many people I have always preferred the flavors and convenience of the wrong foods; calorie-rich food that I would never burn.

The foods I was supposed to eat I never really liked, veggies, fruit, salads, pasta, I just didn’t like eating them opting for the old fashioned pizzas, burgers, curries and chips. The problem with being a teenager who wants to be accepted is that you do things that are not very good for your health, smoking is one of them, but frequenting fast food restaurants and drinking alcohol are the two things that really have a negative effect on your weight, needless to say when I was a young adult I had a bad weight problem and suffered severely from low self esteem and confidence issues.

It was at that moment that I, like so many others, made a conscious decision to start trying to lose weight, and I began looking into diets and weight-loss programs of which there seemed to be thousands. I tried one after another but soon got fed up with the lack of taste and flavor of low fat foods and living on milkshakes just wasn’t my idea of ​​a heavenly diet. Just when I had gotten to the point where I was thinking there was nothing I could do about my weight because dieting wasn’t working for me, I noticed our mailman walking down our driveway, I walked to school with him and how me he used to carry quite a bit of weight, but surprisingly he was now quite thin. I called him and finally chatted, mustering up enough courage to ask him how he managed to lose so much weight.

He told me it was how I remembered him when he started his job as a postman a couple of years ago, but all the walking and carrying delivery bags had caused him to lose all this weight, he hadn’t been on any diets as such and because he worked early in the morning he had practically given up alcohol on work nights.

The answer was clear how long the day is, exercise. I can still eat normally, not to excess, but normally and exercise regularly and I’ll start losing weight. It was great once I started, my weight started coming down pretty quickly at first and I actually felt less hungry and more thirsty especially after exercise and always quenched my thirst with water. This in turn made me feel much healthier and happier with myself, so I felt compelled to drink less alcohol as well. I am happy to report that at the moment I am really happy with my weight and have even been eating healthy food for the last twelve months which has further contributed to my weight loss.
