Are you tired of working out at the gym for months on end to see little or no results? I know I was! So I did something about it. Nowadays most people go to the gym to train. I usually do three to four different workouts for each muscle group. For example, during a chest exercise I usually do flat bench presses, incline dumbbells, fly’s, and finish with dips. This way I’m hitting every muscle in my chest ensuring maximum growth.

Even with focused and consistent training, it all boils down to food and weight-gain supplements. In the case of the hard gainer, a diet containing high calories and appropriate weight gain supplements can lead to success when working towards your weight gain goals. I myself put on 12lbs of muscle in 2 months, plus I added another 30lbs to my bench press just through proper training and diet. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

A proper weight gain diet contains high calories, protein, and lots of carbohydrates. To get an idea of ​​how many calories you should be consuming, it takes approximately 3500 calories a day (depending on your diet) to gain 1 pound a week. Therefore, if your diet was based on 2,000 calories a day, you would need to consume 1,500 more calories each day. To help build muscle, protein is also needed to grow. The ideal protein intake is 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight. If you weigh 150 pounds you need to consume 150 to 200 grams of protein per day to ensure maximum growth. I met this intake by eating meat, chicken, fish, and weight gain supplements that are high in protein and calories before the shake. My goal is for the smoothie to have at least 50 to 65 grams of protein and at least 900 to 1200 calories per smoothie.

You can achieve your weight gain goals just like I did through consistent hard training and proper diet. By eating the right foods along with the proper weight gain supplements you can start getting the gains you’ve always wanted in the gym.
