First of all, I have to mention that in order to choose the right weight loss diet, there are several issues you need to consider. Don’t just consider the amount of calories in your diet. This is only part of the equation. Different people need different diets, and here’s why.
We all live different lifestyles and need different levels of energy to cope with activities. For example, some people don’t exercise at all. Some moderate exercise. And then there are those who are very active. Obviously, the diets for these different groups of people will be different.
The goal is to eat the right amount of foods that give you the nutrients you need and you can still lose weight. A moderately active person needs about 2,000 calories a day to maintain the same energy levels. So your diet plan can’t go much lower than this number. Otherwise, your body will start to feel deprived and will soon break down. This is not a healthy diet plan.
If you’re trying to lose weight, the right thing to do is adjust your diet to suit your needs. If you’re getting 2,000 calories a day, try aiming for 1,900 calories a day. A better diet plan would be to try to eat the same amount of calories, but increase your activity level. In other words, you burn more calories.
