Now, here’s what you’ll do… Limit your carbohydrate intake to 100 grams per day.

Also, you need to start getting between 1 and 1.5 times your body weight in grams of protein. So, for example, if you weighed 150 pounds, you need to start consuming between 150 and 225 grams of protein per day. This is to prevent your body from burning through muscle instead of fat.

Now as far as your fat intake goes I would try to keep it around 100. No more than 125 and no less than 50. You should also make sure you are getting at least 25 grams of fiber per day and drink lots of water because your body will start of course to pour much more water.

The way this diet will work is your body will see the carbohydrate restriction and its first reaction will be to start chewing on protein and muscle for support but since you will be flooding your body with an ample amount of protein , it will turn into your body’s fat stores for energy.

It won’t take long to start losing fat on this diet. I would recommend trying to stick with it for about 4 weeks before evaluating where you should go next.
