3-Hour Diet – Can This Unique Diet Actually Work?

The 3-Hour Diet is a book written by fitness author Jorge Cruise. Jorge Cruise is well-known as an established author with his 8-minute exercise-based series 8 Minutes a Day.

What is a 3 hour meal?

The basic principle behind the 3 hour meal is simple, eat every 3 hours and not eat anything 3 hours before bed. The idea behind this idea is to increase metabolism, and help maintain a constant energy level throughout the day. Jorge Cruise claims that if you use his program, you will lose 2 pounds per week without exercising. However, he recommends exercising for 8 minutes a day which is not surprising… The diet also talks about emotional saboteurs and problems that can harm the program such as sedentary activities associated with mindless eating. All meals are based on sources of lean protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats. One of the main selling points of the book is the recommendations for fast food and frozen meals. These factors are very attractive to the average person, most people travel constantly and have a very limited life. The recommended amount of calories for the daily diet is about 1450 per day. There are some questionable nutritional practices because the 3 hour diet works hard on processed foods.

o Breakfast: McDonalds Egg McMuffin, 1% milk and apple

o Food: chocolate bar

o Lunch: Cannelloni, fat-free side salad.

o Snack: Nabisco 100 calorie Oreo cookies

o Food: baked potatoes, grilled chicken, green beans

o Supplements: 1 diet coke, 1 coffee, 1 non-dairy creamer

Is it worth it?

The problem I have with the 3-Hour Diet is that it seems like a lot rather than a lot. The problem that Jorge Cruise looks at has been covered over and over again in nutrition books and programs. However, the basic principles behind the book are good – eat little and often, learn how to include meals every day, and how to plan and aim. The book itself is a lot of fluff and inconsistencies. It’s about not counting calories and then limiting portion sizes to certain calories! It seems to be full of positive testimonials and other such fillers. This is one of those programs that I can’t recommend in any way but that doesn’t mean I don’t try it. There is a possibility that it will turn into one of the usual methods of losing weight or it can be effective and successful. My opinion leans more towards fashion based on my own experience with the program. While this program may work for some, there are better options on the market. But again, don’t let my opinion dissuade you from trying this program; for some it can be the best thing because sliced ​​bread and for others it can be a complete mess.
