Diet For Quick Weight Loss – Quick, Easy And Natural

In the past when I thought of quick weight loss, I mostly thought of Jenny Craig’s diet or some weight loss pill like Proctol or Hoodia. About a year ago I learned that there are easier, better and cheaper ways to lose weight faster.

I’m talking about a plan called a calorie replacement diet. The basic approach in this diet is that food is not your enemy and that proper, normal eating will help you lose weight. Sounds crazy, right? This is not. In this diet they used an old well-known secret and combined it with what we know today. When we eat, two hormones are released in our body. One hormone stores fat and the other hormone burns fat. Of course, if we want to lose weight, we want a lot of fat-burning hormone and less fat-storing hormone.

Our bodies have often been hard-wired through evolution to learn how metabolism must function in order for an organism to survive (which makes sense to us). The ability to store energy for later use is a great idea but if those stores are large, they become life threatening and unfortunately there is no autonomy to help us with that problem. Instead we get sick, we get type 2 diabetes and we go into cardiovascular disease.

However, with a few small adjustments in our diet we can make our body use more stored fat and at the same time we don’t store new fat. You know, every three months our fat reserves completely change. We assume that the fat we carry remains the same but in fact old fat is used up and new fat is replaced.

The small adjustments that need to be made are that we eat regularly, that we eat healthy foods, and that we change calories at certain times to make the metabolism burn more fat than it stores. There are people who lose up to 9 pounds in 11 days and that is amazing. However, most people lose about 5 pounds per 11-day cycle.

When I decided to lose weight I pulled out my calendar and marked this day as number one, making a new one on day eleven and a new one on day 28. You see, you start this diet for eleven days and then you get three free days where you can eat pretty much anything and then you go on another 11 day diet. By day 28, I had lost 15 pounds! I strongly recommend this diet to those of you who have tried all fad diets and failed.
