1. Proper nutrition

Eating the right food is extremely important because it provides nutrients to fuel our body’s vital operations. It also supports muscle to increase the body’s metabolism. Following proper nutrition is ideal for improving muscle building and burning fat. So, it’s a big mistake to skip meals.

2. Training

Bodysculpturing and bodybuilding are the two types of routine practices when it comes to training. Bodysculpturing is used by people who want to focus on shape building while bodybuilding is used for fitness and bodybuilding group. In fact, the main difference between the two types of practices is the extension they assume, with the latter being more intense. Without training, it’s like speaking without a tongue.

3. Rest

Sufficient rest and recovery allow proteins in the body to build, maintain and repair muscle. Don’t allow your body to be derived from sleep because “sleep loss equals weight gain.”

Workout tips to build abs and gain muscle mass

1. Total body workout

It is proven that if you do a full body workout, you will get abs faster. While exercising, always tighten your abs. Whatever you do, don’t limit yourself to just one workout. This is because your body would get used to doing the same workout every time and you would not get the results as fast as you would like. The muscles in our body work together rather than independently. The total body workout also allows you to maximize fat burning.

2. Contract and flex your abs between sets

This technique helps build abdominal definition. Bodybuilders are known to stretch and flex between sets to increase muscle definition. Common ab workouts are crunches, side crunches, sit-ups, jackknife sit-ups, and leg raises/leg raises.

3. Compound exercises

Choose exercises that work as many different muscles as possible. Isolation exercises are used when the workout ends and works only one particular area. Compound exercises build the most muscle groups in most areas of the body. Some compound exercises include free weight exercises and squats.

4. Minimize rest time between sets

Try taking just 1 minute of rest [or less] time between abdominal exercises. The goal is to keep rest at 30-40 seconds between sets. This is to keep those abs burning at their peak.
