There is always a side problem when building muscle and that is gaining fat. When people “bulk” they eat more calories, which leads to muscle growth and fat. This is a big problem for most people and there is always a struggle to balance the two. We’re going to talk about how to build lean muscle fast while keeping your body fat off.

We are going to offer some tips so that you can keep the dreaded fat off your body while building mass. Here are some tips to help you build lean muscle quickly:

1. Eat often: You eat six meals a day. It keeps your metabolism running in high gear so you keep fat off, but keep feeding your muscles.

2. Oatmeal: Start your day with oatmeal. It is high in fiber which helps in keeping you slim. It keeps your cholesterol low.

3. Do not eat any carbs after 6pm: This will keep the weight off very easily. Make it a general rule to only eat proteins at night.

4. Protein Shakes: Replace a few meals a day with protein shakes. They are full of muscle-building protein, but low in calories, which prevents bad weight gain.

5. Sleep: Get 7 to 8 hours of solid sleep every night. This allows your muscles to rejuvenate and repair. As muscles repair they get bigger. Bigger muscles burn more fat.

These are tips that many of my close friends and I have used to keep ourselves lean while building more mass. It helps you build lean muscle faster while shedding fat.
