Since you are cutting back on your food slowly, you are more likely to get used to the amount of food and less likely to go back to your old eating habits. You eat significantly more food than you would on that crash diet, resulting in your body getting the right amount of essential nutrients.

So which diet is best when it comes to weight loss? Quick or slow and steady? It really depends on your goals and your intentions. If you want to lose weight fast for a specific event then go ahead and turn to the crash diet. Take it slow and steady when you are ready to make losing weight a serious and lifelong way of life.
