Eat More Food And Lose Weight
I went to the gym today for the first time in months. Now I feel worse than before I left. Most people don’t realize that exercise isn’t the key to weight loss. Do not get me wrong. Exercise is very beneficial and plays an important role in weight loss and physical condition.
However, the most important aspect of weight loss is eating the right food. Think about it. How much time do you devote to physical activity? How much time do you spend eating? We spend about 10% of our time exercising and 90% of our time eating. So doesn’t it make sense that eating the right foods at the right time is the best way to lose weight? Most people don’t realize that you can eat more food and lose weight. It just has to be the right food and at the right intervals. I’m sure you’ve heard that you should eat 6 small meals a day. Most people freak out when they think of eating 6 meals a day. The keyword here is small. Let’s not call it meals. Call it food consumption. You should consume food six times a day. Or if it’s easier for you, you should eat every 2 hours.
Starting at 7:00, eat a bowl of oatmeal (one of the best carbs you can eat), then at 9:00 eat a piece of fruit, at 11:00 eat a protein shake, at lunch eat a reasonable meal ( healthy sandwich with salad and low-fat dressing), 3:00 eat another fruit or protein bar, 5:00 eat what you’ve never eaten at 3:00. Try to have dinner no later than 7:00, again making for a reasonable meal and small portions. Do not eat anything after 20.00. Go to bed by 10am and get a good night’s rest. Try this for 10 days and I guarantee you will lose 5 to 10 pounds.
Add 20 minutes of vigorous cardio exercise such as running, cycling, swimming or aerobics to your day and the weight will start to drop.
