I urge you to stay away from fast food! Their foods are extremely high in fat and contain very harmful chemicals that affect how your body works. McDonald’s is definitely a place to avoid at all costs – their foods might taste good, but look at what it’s doing to people.
2. Avoid trans fats and high fructose corn syrup.
Believe it or not, these two ingredients can cause terrible damage to your health… mentally and physically. You will notice that these 2 ingredients are in almost every food you eat, so you will have to be very selective in your shopping.
3. Don’t always listen to your friends and family.
Remember that you should always get support when trying to lose weight, but sometimes people like to put you down. This is common among families because they have failed before and think history will repeat itself. The thing is, you know what’s best for you, so don’t let anyone tell you what’s best for you.
4. Know your source.
Seriously… I hate many doctors and here’s my reason why should I trust an overweight doctor or nutritionist to give me proper weight loss advice? I mean they themselves are overweight but do they tell us how to lose weight? Hypocrisy! Stay away from the doctor when they offer you weight loss advice… trust me. It’s best if you ask people who have lost weight on their own.
5. Stick to your priorities.
Sure, your sandwich would be great with an extra dollop of mayonnaise…but do you really need it? Is it more important to you to reach your weight loss goal faster or to have this slightly better sandwich? Remember to always keep the goal of losing weight in mind and always make a good decision.
