Quick Weight Loss Plan – How to Set Smart Goals?
There are a lot of people out there who have a great quick weight loss plan but they just don’t use it to its full potential because they forget the most important first step in the process: the goal setting step. This time I will show you how to set goals for a weight loss plan in a step-by-step system I learned from my mentor Tony Robbins. The system is called “SMART” goal setting system and its origin is in the world of NLP. So, without further ado, let’s do it:
S – Specific, Significant, Stretching – in specific words, be as focused and direct as possible. Many people who get a quick weight loss plan want to lose as much weight as possible without having a specific number in mind. Make sure you know exactly how many pounds you want to lose.
M – Measurable – This is very important because this is how you will know when you have reached your goals in your fast weight loss plan. And you will also know how far you are from your goal.
A – Achievable – it’s important to set goals that your brain thinks are attainable and can also be achieved. You can’t set goals like, “I want to lose 300 pounds in 2 days” because that’s impossible. Your goal must be above your comfort zone, before your brain goes: “no! That’s impossible!”
R – Realistic – do you have the means to achieve this goal? If you plan to lose weight faster than you can. Do you have enough time? Do you have the knowledge and structure to follow?
T – Time Based – this one is the most important element in setting goals for a fast weight loss plan and this is because you must have enough time to achieve the goal, not so much time that there will be negatively impact your performance. Setting deadlines will also help you with the measurable aspects of the SMART system as it will show you how far or how far you are from achieving your goals on time.
If you use this system in conjunction with your weight loss plan, you will have more clarity and awareness of what is going on and it will act as a motivating force to keep you active every day!
