Weight Loss – 10 Top Industry Secrets
Do you want to be in complete control of your body weight? Do you want to know what you should eat, what kind of work is right for you and other lifestyle tips to follow?
The number of people who are overweight or obese has become a real problem today. Many of my clients come to me because they have tried everything to lose weight, but failed.
But is being overweight really a problem?
According to a February 2004 report published by the Royal College of Physicians, the Faculty of Public Health, and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, more than half of the UK population is overweight or obese. 2002 70% of men and 63% of women.
One in 5 adults is overweight and obesity in children 2 to 4 years old has almost doubled from 5-9% from 1989 to 1998, and in 6-15 year olds tripled from 5-16% between 1990 and 2001.
If current trends continue, it is estimated that at least a third of adults, a fifth of boys and a third of girls will be obese by 2020. I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s pretty sad. that.
So why is the problem getting worse?
With all the Doctors, diets, health clubs, slimming clubs and diets, we are still gaining weight. So why is that?
There are two main reasons for this. First of all, many experts only focus on their area of expertise, their own! For example, a nutritionist may focus on food. To make sure you need to focus on the whole body.
Second, much of the advice given today is very misleading.
According to Rivera & Deutsch, “The Weight Loss Industry doesn’t make money because their efforts work. They make billions because they don’t work” (1)
So what do you do?
To get yourself excited, think about how you will feel when you are in the best shape of your body. What will you feel? How will life be different? What could you have done then that you can’t do now? Think for a few minutes? Write it down. No, write now! No, really, write now.
OK, well done!
When I ask my clients these questions, they often tell me that they can wear nice clothes, play with their children, exercise, go dancing, feel more confident, have more self-esteem more, look better and feel more secure in their relationships.
Below are my top ten solutions for optimal weight gain. They are listed in the order you may find it useful to follow:
1. Set three goals (no more) per week to implement the advice below.
2. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day.
3. Connect with a Metabolic Writing Consultant to find out which foods are biochemically right for you to lose weight and support you on your way.
4. Eat according to your Metabolic Type using organic and unprocessed foods as much as possible.
5. Avoid eating wheat, pasteurized milk, salt and processed sugar.
6. Do resistance and aerobic exercise on alternate days.
If you need help with your exercise program, contact a CHEK Practitioner who can test you and develop a personalized program for you.
7. Go to bed every evening at 10-10.30 pm and sleep for 8 hours every night.
8. Set aside time every day to relax, even if it’s just ten minutes. Meditation, yoga and Tai Chi are great ways to relax. Work out for 30 minutes a day if possible. Note that television does not entertain your body, it strengthens it.
9. At the end of the week, evaluate the achievement of your goals, give yourself feedback. Accept success and keep your back, even if the success is small. If you have a challenge, write down what you can do next week to overcome it? Write down your three goals for the next week. Repeat every week.
10. If you’ve tried all of the above for at least 3 months and still haven’t seen results, contact a BodyTalk(TM) Practitioner or Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner to see if emotional blockages are blocking your progress. – po.
