The raw food diet is lower in trans fat and saturated fat than the typical Western diet. The sodium content is also low, and the content of potassium, magnesium, foliate, fiber, and health-promoting plant chemicals called photochemicals is high.

Eating raw food is obviously not a fad; it’s incredibly rewarding, in terms of enjoying life in general, not just losing weight and improving overall health.
