How I Lost 20 Pounds in 3 Months Using an Infrared Sauna
Let me make one thing clear from the start. Infrared saunas aren’t the only tool to help you lose weight. In other words, don’t expect to see these kinds of results just sitting on your couch all day after your sauna session.
The fact remains that exercise and diet play a big part in weight loss with that said an infrared sauna is a wonderful tool to help speed up your weight loss results.
Let me explain what I mean. When you are in an infrared sauna, the infrared technology heats your body. Once your body starts to heat up, you start to sweat. While your body is warming up, it starts working harder to cool down.
As your body works harder, it burns more energy. As you know, food is energy. To put it in terms of weight loss, you have to burn more energy than you take in. An infrared sauna is an additional tool that can help you achieve this along with diet and exercise.
There are also additional health benefits like improved blood circulation which helps improve skin and also heal the body. It can also help flush out toxins and this helps your body function better by leaving fewer deposits and consequently storing less fat.
My simple daily regimen was to exercise in the morning. I would eat fruit before anything else. I would also drink wheat grass. I replaced sugar with honey and generally drank more water and cut out sodas completely.
During the day I snacked on nuts and fresh cut greens. I would eat whole grain sprouted bread and avoid white flour. In the evening, I ate good carbohydrates from sweet potatoes and sweet potatoes with cooked fresh vegetables.
I would never eat just before going to bed.
Then finally I relaxed for twenty or thirty minutes in an infrared sauna with chamomile and after the words I took a nice tepid shower.
Bottom line, this has helped me sleep well, lose weight and also look good.
