5 Easy Ways to Lose Weight Quickly!

#1. Drink that water!

The answer is NO… you don’t have to start living like a fish, but water is very important for our body. I mean we are made up of about 70% water so it is important to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day. Drinking that water will help you lose weight by getting rid of waste products from your kidneys and also suppressing most of your appetite! So drinking water will not only cleanse your system, but you will also eat less by drinking water before and during your meal! Also, an interesting fact about water is that studies have shown that you can lose up to 62 calories just by drinking ice cold water… weird.

#2. Use smaller plates…

Okay, I know your mom told you to finish everything put in front of you, but with the ridiculous portion sizes in today’s modern restaurants, that’s a really bad idea. When is the plate as big as your torso or are you at a buffet? Well… you should use your common sense and get some! I know it can be hard to resist not eating all that mouth watering food in front of you.

That’s why we recommend having smaller plates, because smaller plates mean smaller portions. Not only does a smaller plate make you take in less food, it also makes you walk back and forth when you want to get seconds. So as you walk, your stomach is already digesting (keep that in mind). So you’ll be less hungry and actually have some space for a small dessert.:)

#3. Exercise

Ok, let’s get rid of this myth… NO, exercise and “training” don’t have to be a painful experience. Exercise doesn’t have to involve heavy weights and running on the treadmill all day like a hamster. When I mean exercise I mean taking a nice relaxing 15-30 minute walk around your neighborhood or in the park. We all have bills to pay and it’s always good to take a break from time to time. So instead of sitting in front of that TV, let’s go outside and enjoy the trees, birds, and fresh air all around us.

If you really can’t find the time to take a walk in your neighborhood or park, here are some other suggestions…

– Swap your mower for a push version.

-Park your car at the bottom of the parking lot.

-Sweep the driveway instead of using a leaf blower.

-Get off the bus a few stops early.

-Walk around the mall more than usual…but don’t go shopping.

-Take the stairs whenever you get the chance.

-Play with your children not just watch them. Be active and have fun with them!

#4. Try a diet product.

Diet products… most people think this is just a shortcut. Well, let’s think about it for a moment why is the diet market worth millions and millions? Why do people buy these products… And why do they buy them? To lose weight and they work!

People have so many negative opinions about diet products lately because everyone wants to lose weight the “natural” way. Well, the thing is, some people don’t have the time to hit the gym every day. Was in college when we had time! With diet products we can have time to work, take care of our children and lose weight at the same time.

I have to admit though that some products don’t work, they are a big waste of money, but keep in mind that most of them do! They have been subjected to thousands of clinical studies and there are many testimonials to back them up. So keep that in mind before you throw it out the window, just because your friends tell you it’s wrong. The facts prove that certain diets are safe!

#5. Don’t be so negative!

Last but not least, have a positive attitude. Many people say that one of the main reasons they lose weight quickly and effectively is because they had a goal and they stuck to it. With a positive attitude and a group of supportive friends you can do anything you want!

Don’t listen to the negative people around you saying you can’t lose it or your own little voice saying it’s impossible to lose that many pounds in that certain number of days. As human beings it is in our nature to make the impossible possible. So remember to keep your head up and push yourself to do your best, because we’re all here to support you!
